Which of these would you rather do? Showcase your actual performance, or let them gain value from the results?
Which one is worth being tired to the bone? The applause, glitz, and glamour? Or a job well done and executed?
Giving people something to watch at your expense is tiring. You give, they take. It lasts for a couple of hours at best and then it’s on to the next show.

Perform and do well to provide value. Your product is the focus and you are not the product. Don’t be misled to believe that you are it. It’s what you deliver that will always count.
